Israeli forces on Wednesday detained the father and two brothers of Ibrahim Salim Abu Sneineh, 16, who stabbed two Israelis in a Rami Levy supermarket of the Mishor Adumim industrial zone of Maale Adumim, Ma’an reported.
An off-duty Israeli security guard shot and injured Abu Sneineh.
Local committee spokesman Hani Halabiya told Ma’an that Israeli forces detained Samir Abu Sneineh and brothers Murad and Tariq after raiding their home in al-Eizariya.
Clashes broke out following the arrests, according to Ma’an, and five Palestinians were injured by rubber bullets, including four in the head and one in the foot. They also fired tear gas.
Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld wrote on Twitter that the stabbing suspect was in “serious condition.”
