Billboard reports that Madonna has out-moneyed Sir Paul McCartney, and is worth $800 million, with Sir Paul trailing the Material Girl at $660 million. Dr. Dre comes in at third, thanks in part to his Beats product he sold to Apple, at a close $650 million.
Actually, Sir Paul his wife Lady Nancy Shevell are wealthier combined than Madonna, since Shevell’s worth is $300 million, not money can buy one love. Shevell, who became Sir Paul’s wife in 2007, is a member of the board of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and is vice president of New England Motor Freight, which her family owns. The day before their wedding, Sir Paul and Lady Nancy attended Yom Kippur services, in deference to her Jewish faith. Lady Nancy Shevell is the second cousin of journalist Barbara Walters.
