Goldie Hawn turned 69 on Friday. Daughter Kate Hudson and her fiancée, Matthew Bellamy, joined Goldie at the inaugural event of Love In For Kids at Ron Burkle’s Green Acres Estate in Beverly Hills. Goldie was also joined at the event by her partner Kurt Russell.
“Family has always been the most important thing in my life, ” Hawn told In Style. “The only real goal that I ever had was to be a good mother.”

Hawn got her start on the TV series “Good Morning, World” in the late ’60s. She has since done a lot of film and TV, but only received one Golden Globe, for Best Supporting Actress in Cactus Flower.
So, she’s right, her greatest role may have been as Kate Hudson’s mother.
Hawn’s Foundation’s MindUp program aims to transform children’s lives for greater success. Celebs in attendance included Rashida Jones, Zach Braff, Leslie Mann and hubby Judd Apatow, Rachel Zoe and hubby Rodger Berman, Melanie Griffith, and Kathy Griffin.
