Soccer Agent Pini Zahavi to Launch Branded Sports Keyboard App

International soccer agent Pini Zahavi is coming to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). An announcement by Internet companies Apply Advanced Mobile Technologies (TASE:APLY), controlled by serial entrepreur Noam Lanir, and WhiteSmoke reveals that Zahavi is a partner in a venture being developed by the two men for a smartphone keyboard.

According to the announcement, Zahavi will own 15% of the joint company founded to develop the venture, which will be registered in the British Virgin Islands. Apply and WhiteSmoke will own the remained in equal shares (42.5% each).

The announcement stated that the joint company, Kibo Mobile-Tech, “will develop a branded keyboard application in various languages for sports clubs and brands to offer their fans. Among other things, the branded keyboard will be a new way of connect the brand to the fan.”

The announcement continued, “The parties are considering various business models, including distribution of the application for free. The business model can be based on purchase a product upgrade and/or purchases resulting from an appeal to the users through the application. The agreements also establish a mechanism for dividing the revenue.”

In addition to correcting typos, which quite a few other applications offer, the Kibo product will also color the keyboard in the colors of the user’s team, and enable the team’s fans to receive news updates, game results, and updates from the social networks relevant to the team’s fans.
