Former Apple CFO Gives Historic Donation to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo

Former Apple Chief Financial Officer and current director of Goldman Sachs, Peter Oppenheimer, donated $20 million to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, the largest single donation the school has received, as reported by CNBC.

Oppenheimer, along with his wife Mary Beth, both Cal Poly grads, donated the funds to the school of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. The money will go toward building a farm store, a pedestrian pavilion and areas for livestock. Oppenheimer worked for Apple for 18 years.
