896 Flushing Avenue

Zosia Mamet, actress and daughter of famed playwright and director David Mamet, is looking to unload her Brooklyn home for $1.6 million.

The 26 year old starlet has had roles on programs like Mad Men and is best known for her current job playing Shoshana Shapiro on HBO’s hit show Girls.

Her four floor pink house is located at 896 Flushing Avenue in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn, right near Simon Dushinsky’s new Rheingold Brewery development. New projects such as that are the reason why people like Mamet are making such a high return on their local property investments.

The house has 21 rooms including 8 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms over 2, 508 square feet. It is 22 feet wide. The property stands out as to its right lies an apartment building that rises above it and to its left is a short commercial property.

It comes with a commercially-zoned English basement, a terraced garden, a rooftop terrace, a farmhouse-style kitchen and a home gym. There are views of Manhattan from the upper floors.

It could make a good investment opportunity for someone as the property comes with a potential to build 5, 192 square feet and can be divided into 6 apartments.

Mamet has lived there with her boyfriend who has starred in the X Men films Evan Jonigkeit.
