Elie Tahari’s Kitsch-Free ‘I Love New York’ Fashions

eli tahari 1.

Elie Tahari’s designs allow wearers to show their love of New York without the kitschy tourist dreck. He discussed his new DesignNation Kohl’s collection, and said, “I am thrilled …to create an accessible collection that draws inspiration from the city that inspires the world–New York City.”

The “Taxi Georgette” top shows a city scene with taxi cabs and skyscrapers, on sale for $54. The letterman “Damn Yankee” jacket is available for $298. A flare dress with a scene of a New York City skyline at night is just $58.80. Also available is a charming New York State of Mind brass necklace,  a scarf with a map of Manhattan, a leather New York belt and a simple t-shirt with New York inscription  on the top pocket.
