Sandra Bullock Highest Paid Hollywood Female Star in 2014

Hollywood lady stars are still making less than the gentlemen, according to Forbes. In 2014, so far, the top 10 Hollywood guys combined for $419, compared to only $226 million for the women.

First among those less fortunate stars, in the wake of her “Gravity, ” Sandra Bullock is decidedly 2014’s highest paid actress. Last year she was only no. 7, and Angelina Jolie was at the top. Now Jolie is in fifth place, tied with Cameron Diaz.

Forbes interviewed agents, producers, lawyers, and, we guess, hedge fund managers and bookies, to reach their conclusions. Oh, and taxes, agent fees, and other costs are not deducted from the final amount.

So, like we said, in first place is Sandra Bullock with $51 million.

“Gravity, ” one of the highest grossing movies of 2013, took in $716 million worldwide.

Gwyneth Paltrow is fourth, with $19 million from her role in “Iron Man” and from endorsements with Max Factor and Hugo Boss.
