Africa Israel Headlining Israel Real Estate Exhibition in NY

Tamar Tower in Ramat Gan

Africa Israel Residences, part of the Africa Israel Investments Group Led by Lev Leviev, headlined a group of Israeli firms that were represented over the past two days at the Israel Real Estate Exhibition which was held at the Grand Hyatt New York Hotel by Grand Central Station.

Israelis, especially in Jerusalem, have been unhappy with the proliferation of new luxury condominium buildings that have been going up in recent years and which cater to wealthy foreigners who only occupy the apartments for at most a few weeks out of the year. They feel that this has come at the expense of hard working Israelis who are having trouble finding affordable homes in their nation’s capital.

In spite of this, Israeli real estate developers hold an annual exhibition in New York in order to continue sell their new projects to wealthy Americans looking for vacation homes in the Holy land.

Africa Israel Residences presented seven different residential properties located throughout Israel. These included a new luxury apartment building with 11 units in downtown Jerusalem off of Jaffa Street at 7 Rabbi Kook Street. It has 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments, as well as penthouses.

Just a few blocks away from there at the corner of Hileni Hamalka and Moonbaz Streets is HaNeviim Court, another luxury building developed by Africa Israel. It has more than 140 apartments and penthouses with views of Jerusalem’s Old City. It also has a 70 room hotel and retail areas.

Two of the firm’s Tel Aviv developments were also showcased. Savyoney Ramat Aviv in Tel Aviv’s wealthy northern neighborhood consists 4 residential towers and six 6 story terraced buildings. The Savyon Bamashtela is a complex with 9 story buildings and boutique 4 story buildings.

Other Israeli firms represented there included Ashdar, Azorim, A.I. Nevo, Chazon and Galili, Cnaan, Dona, Ganei Ha’ela, Lalchovetzki, Ribak Group, Tivuch Shelley and the Ribak Group.
