Award-Winning Freakonomics Author to Speak at Worcester Economic Club

The Worcester Economic Club is pleased to announce Stephen Dubner, award-winning co-author of Freakonomics, as the April 2015 speaker.

Online PR News – 11-September-2014 – The Worcester Economic Club (WEC) is pleased to announce Stephen Dubner, award-winning co-author of Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything, as the April 2015 speaker for the 2014-2015 WEC Speaker Series. The 537th meeting is co-presented with The Hanover Theatre Distinguished Speaker Series and sponsored by Commerce Bank. As in past years, the upcoming season will feature many of the worlds thought leaders, including authors, journalists, economists, and business leaders.

Dubners perspective on economics will surely be an interesting talk that will foster insightful and relevant discourse.

Dubner is an award-winning author, journalist and TV and radio personality. He is the co-author of the international bestselling business books Freakonomics and Superfreakonomics. Freakonomics went on to spend eight years on The New York Times bestseller list, having sold more than five million copies around the world, in more than 35 languages. His newest addition to the enterprise, Think Like a Freak, was published in 2014. The Freakonomics enterprise also includes an award-winning blog, a high-profile documentary film, and a public-radio project called Freakonomics Radio, which Dubner hosts.
