Ralph Lauren will be the official outfitter of the PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup matches played in the U.S. The Ryder Cup teams will be wearing Ralph Lauren’s designs in 2016, 2018 and 2020, and American golfers will be outfitted by the iconic designer when it competes with Europe at Gleneagles this month.
Ralph Lauren reacted to something Kayne West said about the brand. When interviewed on the radio, West was talking about a line of clothing, and said, “It ain’t Ralph, though.” Ralph Lauren was quite pleased. “That’s very cool. Well, that’s great. If I were to cater to Kayne, he would know that I’m catering to him. The fact that I make what I make–he gets it. He gets the quality and he respects it. And I think that’s the key. Why I work all the time is to do that. That’s the fun.”
