You’d think infidelity was invented with the internet, as if Tolstoy and Flaubert hadn’t dealt with the subject in their classic novels. However, it can’t be denied that the whole landscape of monogamy and cheating and what that all means has changed with social media, as lines between the virtual and the real in our relationships have changed forever.
Ashley Madison CEO Noel Biderman is working on a scripted drama to “get the roadmap” of cheating in the digital age. The project will be produced by Canadian marblemedia and U.S. Out East Entertainment. “There’s a whole new story to tell about the mind of the cheating man and the cheating woman, ” said Biderman.

While this is a drama with a script and not a reality show, it will be based on Biderman’s experience with true stories on his site and a character who bears a striking similarity to him, with perhaps heavy-handed irony: “Here we are, this corporation run by a married guy with a family who himself has all these challenges in marriage and is helping millions of people have affairs.”
Well, only one question remains…does his wife know?
