Baron David de Rothschild is the target of Spanish lawyer Antonio Flores of the Marbella law firm Lawbird legal services. Lawbird is representing 15 expatriate couples who claim that Swiss Rothschild Continuation Holdings, with Baron David de Rothschild as chairman, sold them 4 million ($5.32 million) euro fraudulent equity releases. The alleged false advertising was distributed through Spanish banks for the special CreditSelect series loan.
N.M Rothschild & Sons is also in hot water with ongoing cases in Alicante for fraud and false advertising and in Malaga for misleading advertising.
