Simon Cowell Wants Encore Performance in Role as Dad

Just seven months after the birth of his first child, Eric, X-Factor star and music mogul Simon Cowell says he’s ready for another child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman. He added that a good time to plan the second bundle of joy would be between X-Factor filming series, and no way is he going to change diapers.

Cowell told the Daily Mail he wouldn’t change a nappy for 10, 00o British pounds or roughly $16, 000. “I don’t think you have to, ” he said, “It’s like watching your girlfriend go to the loo. You don’t have to. You have a choice.” One major worry Cowell had prior to becoming a father was if he could love the baby as much as he loves his dogs. “But literally seconds after him being born, ” said Cowell, “I got it!”  “It” being the fatherhood dynamic, and best of luck for a second time around.

Simon Cowell has been vocal in his support of Israel, donating 100, 000 British pounds or $160, 000 to the Israeli Defense Forces. He discussed the possibility of converting to Judaism, and his father Eric (the baby’s namesake) came from a “mostly Jewish family, ” according to Cowell.
