Sarah Silverman Returning to New Season of Masters of Sex

66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards - Show

Sarah Silverman told Eonline that she’s returning to Masters of Sex for another season. This summer, Sarah played Betty’s ex-girlfriend Helen for two episodes.

Masters of Sex is a period drama series, based on Thomas Maier’s biography Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the Couple Who Taught America How to Love. the series premiered in 2013 on Showtime. Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson are portrayed by Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan.

“I’ll be back next season to finish the story up—if I’m allowed, ” Silverman told E.

The comedienne won an Emmy this week for writing for her own variety special, Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles.

E also revealed that Sarah has been dating Masters of Sex star Michael Sheen since February. They met at sheen’s 45th birthday party in West Hollywood.

“I’m [expletive] the star of the show, ” she said.
