Some of the future IDF soldiers are coming to Israel on today’s charter flight with 338 new Olim (immigrants) from the United States and Canada. 108 of the group’s young men and women will serve in the IDF.

The special flight is being organized by Nefesh B’Nefesh, Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption and the Jewish National Fund, in cooperation with The Jewish Agency for Israel, and Tzofim Garin Tzabar.

2, 800 Lone Soldiers are currently serving in the IDF, in a range of positions, having made Aliyah without their parents. The Nefesh B’Nefesh Lone Soldiers Program provides a holistic service package for young men and women who make Aliyah and are required to serve in the military.

“I want to thank Randy and Mindy Levine for their exceptional hospitality and the unforgettable experience they gave to the young Olim, just before they departure for Israel, ” said Co-Founder and Executive Director of Nefesh B’Nefesh Rabbi Yehoshua Fass.

The Yankees are in third place in the American League East, with 61 wins and 56 losses.
