Gottesman invested in the record company of Lyor Cohen, the former Warner Music chief, and lives near him in West Village, where Gottesman bought an old factory for $34 million, tore it down and will build there a huge mansion.
Gottesman also owns stuff in Hampshire, England, where he hosted Beyoncé and Jay Z.
Gottesman’s art collection includes works by Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud.
