The 28-year-old star of Girls Tweeted that day her thoughts on American Apparel CEO Dov Charney being ousted by his company.
“Dov Charney being fired has definitely opened up a whole new world of slutty spandy-wear to me, ” Lena tweeted.
She was criticized for using the word “slutty.”
So she decided to defend her tweet: “Hey word police : slutty is one of my favorites I will never stop applying it to MYSELF until I’m slutting it up in my dirty, dirty grave.”
Dunham was born in New York City, New York. Her father, Carroll Dunham, is a Protestant painter, and her mother, Laurie Simmons, is a Jewish artist and photographer, and a member of the Pictures group. Laurie is known for her use of dolls and dummies in her photographs of setup interior scenes.
