Just six months after revealing they had re-married, Pamela Anderson – once again – filed for divorce from husband Rick Salomon.

The 47-year-old former “Baywatch” star and the 46 year-old poker player/businessman first tied the knot in Las Vegas in October 2007, and ended the marriage in December of the same year. Anderson originally cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, but the marriage was later annulled.

Later, in January, she revealed that she had remarried her ex.

“We’re very happy, ” Anderson told E! at the time. “Our families are very happy and that’s all that matters.”

On July 3, though, Anderson filled another divorce petition form — again citing “irreconcilable differences.”

“We are confirming our client Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from her husband Rick Salomon, ” Anderson’s rep said in a statement. “We ask the media to please respect Pamela and her family’s privacy during this time.”

Soon after the news broke, the actress posted in her Facebook page a photo of herself with sunglasses on and looking into the Ocean with the caption “Hope.”

She also shared a link to a religious verse, which starts with “I release my loved ones to God, ” along with a caption that read: “I love this – there is freedom in this – helps…”

While all still seemed pretty well back when the two were spotted in the South of France during the Cannes Film Festival in May, in recent weeks there have been first signs that the second time was not a charm for the couple after all.

On June 28, two days after they were last seen together, Anderson wrote on Twitter, “Closing the open hand… hardest thing to do.” On July 5, when she was spotted running errands in Malibu, she didn’t appear to be wearing her diamond wedding rings.

On Sunday, the actress took back to Twitter and wrote, “I no longer have the time for anyone or anything that can not give emotion, time and love, honestly, freely and with sincerity… my beautiful, soulful, mentor BB [Brigitte Bardot].”

This was the third marriage for her and second for him, not including their previously annulled union and Salomon’s marriage to actress Shannen Doherty, which was also annulled. Anderson has two sons with first ex-husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, while Salomon has two daughters with his first wife, voice-actress Elizabeth Daily.

Salomon recently made headlines for winning $2.8 million in the World Series of Poker Big One for One Drop tournament last Tuesday, when he finished fourth. Previously, he was best known for co-starring with Paris Hilton in the infamous sex tape “One Night in Paris”.

Richard Allan “Rick” Salomon (born January 24, 1968) is a film producer, celebutante, and former online gambling website owner known for his relationships with various female celebrities, including Elizabeth Daily, Shannen Doherty, Paris Hilton, and Pamela Anderson. He was born in Neptune, New Jersey, the son of a former executive vice president at Warner Bros., Robert Jess Salomon. He grew up in Wayside, New Jersey.

Salomon is known as a big home game player in the Los Angeles area, frequently participating in celebrity or small private games. He appeared on season two of Fox’s “PokerStars Big Game”.

In 2003, a sex tape featuring Salomon and then-girlfriend Paris Hilton was leaked to the Internet. Shortly after the tape leaked, Salomon filed a lawsuit against the company distributing the tape and the Hilton family, whom he accused of tarnishing his reputation by suggesting that he had exploited Hilton.
