Oscar Winner Gwyneth Paltrow has hired a “reputation management expert” to help her deal with problems arising from poor recent statements that she made and her separation from her husband of ten years, the British singer Chris Martin. The couple announced the split in March.

The working mother of two, who has become a businesswoman in addition to an actor and producer, was recently criticized for comments that she made about working mothers when she implied that it was harder for her to be one then for women with a regular 9-5 job. Working women were not happy to hear a rich and famous mother tell them that it was easier for them to work and take care of their children at the same time.

The 41 year old actress told E News, “It’s different when you have an office job, because it’s routineyou can do all the stuff in the morning, then come home in the evening. I think to have a regular job and be a mom is not as… there are challenges, but it’s not like being on set.”

To deal with the negative responses that she received, Paltrow has reportedly hired Hunter Frederick to help her improve her public image. Fredrick has also provided such assistance to Justin Bieber and Amanda Bynes after those celebrities had similar publicity problems.  Since this was first published, however, Mr. Fredrick has denied that he is working with Ms. Paltrow.

Reputation managers work on line to improve their client’s reputations. They do this by giving them as much control as possible over what people see about them on the Internet. For example, while items cannot entirely be removed from the Internet, it is possible to have them pushed so far down in the results of web searches that for all practical purposes it might as well not exist.

A source told the British magazine heat, “Gwyneth knows she’s made a series of catastrophic errors in recent months, which she blames on the separation from Chris and her muddled state of mind. She’s been struggling to cope with single life since the split, despite the constant dates and the fact they’re still living together.”

In good news for Paltrow, it has just been reported that Chris Martin wants to reconcile with her. Their marriage broke up because of his affair with Alexa Chung and his inability to completely separate himself from her. But now, it seems, that Chung has dumped him so Martin might be able to get Paltrow to take him back.

Paltrow and Martin were recently spotted having dinner together. It has also been reported that Martin has returned to live at the couple’s home in Brentwood California.

Gwyneth Paltrow has starred in almost 50 movies, including all three Ironman films, Se7en, Emma and The Talented Mr, Ripley. She won the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Viola De Lesseps in 1998’s Shakespeare in Love.

Born in Los Angeles, she is the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and the late film producer/director Bruce Paltrow.

Since this article was first published JBN received the following statement from Hunter Fredrick:

“Reports by some media outlets suggesting that myself or my firm
(Frederick & Associates) have been hired by Gwyneth Paltrow or her management to conduct “reputation coaching” are false. I have been in contact with Gwyneth’s representatives and neither myself nor Gwyneth’s team were contacted to comment on this story before it was published.”
