Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Hamas for the kidnapping of the three Israeli teenagers Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frankel.
He said, “I can say what I was unable to say yesterday before the large wave of arrests in Judea and Samaria. It was Hamas that carried out the kidnapping of our boys and there will be dire consequences to this. We are making every effort to return the boys who have been kidnapped to their homes. I send a message of our support and encouragement and I know that I am speaking on behalf of all sectors of the people.”
Last night Israel’s security forces arrested 80 Palestinians in the West Bank.
