Sanctions at Ben Gurion Airport mean long queues
–
Because of the sanctions, twelve flights that were due to leave from Terminal 1 were diverted to Terminal 3. The automatic security inspection system, which is in the final stages of implementation at Ben Gurion Airport, has not been working since yesterday evening, and the systems in the Terminal 3 departures hall have been reactivated.
This is liable to cause long queues for security inspection. The Israel Airports Authority advises passengers to come to the airport at least three hours before the departure time of the flight, and to keep up to date with the situation via the airlines and the Authority’s website.
