Len Blavatnik ranked 4th in UK rich list

Nine of the top ten men on “The Sunday Times” rich list are not originally from the UK. For the first time, the list tops 100 billionaires, includes 104 billionaires based in the UK, 26 more than in the 2013 list.

“The Sunday Times” says that the UK has more billionaires per capita than anywhere else in the world, with most of them residing in London, which has more billionaires than any other city.

Len Blavatnik is ranked fourth, with a fortune of £10 billion.
David and Simon Reuben, ranked 7th with a fortune of £9 billion.
Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich is 9th, with a fortune of £8.5 billion.
German Khan, oil & Gas ranked 15th with a fortune of £6.08 billion.
Nicky Oppenheimer and family, £4.57 billion (up £785 million) ranked 18th.
Sir Philip and Lady Green £3.88 billion ranked 21st.

Joe Lewis is a British businessman who currently lives in the Bahamas ranked in 20th place. Lewis made his £4.3 billion (down £570) in foreign exchange trading and investment.

Idan Ofer, who moved from Israel to London last year, is ranked 25th with a fortune of £3.4 billion:

1. Sri and Gopi Hinduja, the owner of Hinduja Group have a combined wealth of £11.9 billion

2. Alisher Usmanov, owns 30% of Arsenal and controls top three social networks in Russia. £10.65 billion

3. Lakshmi Mittal, the King of Steel,  owns a stake in Queens Park Rangers. £10.25 billion

4. Len Blavatnik, founder of Access Industries, a private equity investment firm. £10 billion

5. Ernesto and Kirsty Bertarelli,  Serono pharmaceutical company, and the winner of the America’s Cup yachting race twice. Kirsty is a singer and songwriteris,  is a former Miss UK . £9.75 billion

6. John Fredriksen and family, oil tanker, who made his fortune in the 1980s Iran-Iraq war. He is Norway’s richest man, planing who aims to build the world’s biggest fleet of fuel efficient ships. £9.25 billion

7. David and Simon Reuben, were Russia’s biggest foreign investors in the metal industry in the 1990s. Today their business activities involved real estate,  venture, capital, and private equity.  £9 billion

8. Kirsten and Jorn Rausing, the children of the late Gad Rausing who control the Swedish Tetra pack packaging group. £8.8 billion

9. Roman Abramovich, Oil industry and Owner of Chelsea Football Club. £8.52 billion

10. The Duke of Westminster. He owns 300 acres of Belgravia and Mayfair and Oxford Street as well as parts of Liverpool city center. £8.5 billion.

London is home to 72 billionaires.
