The RSA Conference is the world’s leading information security event held every year in San Francisco, California for companies in the security industry to show their wares and talk to their customers and each other.The Global Excellence Awards take place parallel to the conference; these recognize security and IT companies who have developed the most advanced, path-finding new product introductions and software solutions for the industry. Whilst the precise details of how Votiro’s products work remain proprietary their solution claims to eliminate cyber-threats before they have the opportunity to penetrate an organization. After initially scanning all incoming files with a series of commercially available anti-virus programs Votiro then perform an active patent-pending process to each file’s structure and metadata. This process is said to detect and eliminate all kinds of exploit, whether known, unknown or zero-day.
