against zero-day and other ongoing cyber-threats, announced today that it has just won won the Gold Award in the “Innovations in Next Generation Security” category of the Global Excellence Awards for 2014.
Whilst the precise details of how Votiro’s products work remain proprietary their solution claims to eliminate cyber-threats before they have the opportunity to penetrate an organization. After initially scanning all incoming files with a series of commercially available anti-virus programs Votiro then perform an active patent-pending process to each file’s structure and metadata. This process is said to detect and eliminate all kinds of exploit, whether known, unknown or zero-day.
