Harvey Weinstein didn’t get to where he sits at the top of the movie production business by failing to cast the right actor or actress for the right part.
And this time around Weinstein seems to have surpassed himself having chosen Anne Hathaway to play the part of , the sometime tragic icon, in a soon to get underway film biography of her life.
Anyone who knows Ms Hathaway and stops to think twice about it, will rapidly gather that the actress, now aged 32, bears a remarkable resemblance to the late Judy when she was in her prime, with even Garland’s daughter, Liza Minnelli remarking that Anne Hathaway would be a very good fit for the part, and not just for her physical appearance but also for acting abilities.
Harvey Weinstein obviously thinks so too admitting that he has had his Anne in his sights for some time, ever since they worked together on a remake of Les Misérables in 2012.
