Israeli TV Channel 10 Teams With China’s CCTV

Chinese network CCTV is estimated to have 1.5 billion viewers.

Channel 10 has signed a long-term collaboration agreement with leading Chinese network CCTV. Sources inform “Globes” that the deal is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, which will initially be invested in shows of the Chinese network to be broadcast on Channel 10.

Later, there will joint productions, with Channel 10 programs being aired in China. The deal was put together by CCTV’s representative in Israel, Ami Ella Communication. One of the Chinese network’s 48 channels is currently broadcast by local companies Hot and Yes. CCTV is believed to have the largest number of viewers in the world, some 1.5 billion.

Ami Ella confirmed the deal, and said, “I’m happy about the collaboration and I belive that his is the start of a long-term process. The company sees Channel 10 as a partner in a wide range of matters.” No response was received from Channel 10.
