Gazit-Globe (TASE: GZT; NYSE: GZT) a multi-national real estate companies focused on acquisition, development and redevelopment of supermarket-anchored shopping centers in major urban markets, announced today that it has applied to list its ordinary shares for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”).

Gazit-Globe has received the conditional approval of the TSX for the listing, subject to a number of standard listing conditions. It should be noted that the listing of the Company’s ordinary shares on the TSX will not be accompanied by an equity offering by the Company. Upon listing, the Company’s ordinary shares will trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol GZT.
