August: America May Be Caught in an Economic Storm

/By Pnina Katz /

For the month of August we expect a complicated economic complex story. The situation is characterized by extreme truth and dawning self-awareness about deeper economic problems which are being exposed. This makes it harder to provide jobs for the unemployed, self-sufficency itself is under threat for many and decreased quality of life can result. The Detroit collapse and bankruptcy is just one of a number of other cities who are in trouble. The fabric of many of our cities and population centers will change in the coming years because of movements in labour concentration. A number of large cities will become smaller, more Americans will migrate to different parts of the country. This process has been going on at least since 2008 and will continue for another five years; accordingly the resulting image wrought by these changes does not yet form a clear picture.

The relationship between Mercury, the Moon and Saturn symbolize the economic crisis in the United States is as in the rest of the world.
We must remember that successful companies currently doing well on the stock exchange do not indicate the real economic situation in the United States. During the month this disconnect between the stock market, corporate earnings and the overall economic situation of the country, will intensify and cause problems.

Dates to take special note of:

For the first two or three days in August – speculative losses in financial and investment areas will be possible. Be careful taking unnecessary financial risks. Risk of loss and a sharp increase of personal accidents , including on airline flights.

4th and 5th – some external events may create unexpected financial renewed optimism in the economy.

1st to the 8th of August – the tendency for an increase in personal accidents will remain, and companies engaged in the media may suffer losses in this week.

8th to 11th – a more general risk of systemic financial crisis with the dangers of bankruptcy or collapse of a large economy during this period which could have international domino effects.

13th to 15th – there will nevertheless be successful results for industrial companies, media and tourism.

17th to 20th – you should again be wary of taking financial risks wait to make new investments or financial speculations.

20th to 21st – you should be very carfeful about whom you trust with your money, your businesses or your personal life. Be careful of cheats and crooks and any promises they may make to you.

21st to 30ththe may be a lot of dramatic economic problems incidents in the U.S. economy, similar to the deflationary economic after-effects experienced after the World Trade Center disaster in September 2001. Of course do not expect a physical event similar to that one, but there is still indicated a period reflecting continued worldwide economic problems, which will lower the hopes and aspirations of many as the real numbers come in.

The transition of the Sun across Virgin will later give us accurate predictions regarding employment, education and health.

President Obama’s astrological map shows that between August and October the US may face many difficult decision points, with the peak coming only in October 2013. These difficulties will be reflected primarily in required economic decisions related to foreign trade.

It is important now to remember that China has commenced a process of economic decline, as was predicted here first in this column by the way.

Decisions taken will reflect fundamentally a conservative approach which will result in lowering the standard of living for everybody during this period and perhaps acceptance of the fact that the U.S. is going for another year of relative economic decline at least through December, 2014, though a technical recession with successive quarterly declines in GDP may be avoided.
