Marc Benioff’s Salesforce Looks to Acquire Informatica

Salesforce, an American cloud-based software company founded by Marc Benioff, is in “advanced talks” to acquire software company Informatica, reported Reuters. Informatica currently has a value of above $11 billion. The details of the talks have not been revealed, but Reuters reported that Salseforce’s bid is for less than the company’s current price per share.

Informatica’s shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Informatica is an American software development company founded in 1993. It is headquartered in Redwood City, California, and its core products include enterprise cloud data management and data integration. The company offers a comprehensive suite of tools for managing data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This includes data integration, data quality, data governance, and master data management. Informatica’s data integration solutions help businesses bring data together from disparate sources, cleanse and transform it, and deliver it to the applications and analytics that need it.
