Monica Lewinsky is back, with a vengeance. She is not only modeling, but the infamous lover of former President Bill Clinton is now in a fashion ad campaign for Reformation to encourage women to go out and vote.
The new Monica Lewinski campaign is from the fashion brand Reformation and is called “Monica f*cking Lewinsky.” It is part of the “You’ve Got the Power” campaign.
But why? Why Monica Lewinski? Why should anyone care what she thinks considering that she is only known for having had an affair with the President of the United States?

“It’s pretty simple: Voting is using our voice to be heard and it’s the most defining — and powerful–aspect of democracy,” Monica Lewinsky told Variety. “Voting is always important, but the stakes are especially high this year with voter frustration and apathy threatening to meaningfully impact turnout. I’m excited and grateful to be working with Reformation to remind people to register, use their voice and vote! A Ref woman is an empowered woman – and an empowered woman uses her voice.”
Well, that explains why she is doing it. But why did Reformation want her?
The company said in a statement, “Another faceless brand telling you to vote isn’t going to cut through, so they teamed up with someone iconic who would. As a change maker and activist, Monica has been advocating for women to use their voices and embrace their power for decades.”
And Reformation’s chief creative officer Lauren Cohan told Elle that after seeing Monica Lewinski’s Ted Talk, “I was like, ‘Whoa, this woman is incredibly funny and smart and also a Ref babe,’ and that was the bullseye.”
Monica Lewinsky is an American activist, writer, and former White House intern. She is most known for her involvement in the Clinton–Lewinsky scandal, a political sex scandal that unfolded in the late 1990s. Lewinsky was born in 1973 and interned at the White House in 1995-1996. During this time, she had a consensual sexual relationship with then-President Bill Clinton. The details of the affair were made public in 1998, leading to a major political scandal and Clinton’s impeachment by the House of Representatives.
