SeeTree was founded in August 2017 by former intelligence officers and serial entrepreneurs to bring technology disruption into the world of farming.

The company is based in Tel Aviv with offices in California and Brazil, and has 40 employees including global experts in artificial intelligence and agronomy. SeeTree offers farmers an end-to-end service to manage and optimize the health and productivity of their trees.

SeeTree’s system identifies the health and growth rates of every tree in a farmer’s grove and enables the creation of personalized cultivation plans for each tree or cluster of trees. SeeTree collects ultra-high-resolution images captured by drones and multi-spectral sensors, tree, and soil samples and analyzes the data through the platform’s machine learning algorithms.

“I would like to express our thanks and gratitude to our new investors and existing shareholders,” said SeeTree CEO Israel Talpaz. “Receiving their great support, especially in these challenging times, is a highly appreciated show of faith. It is exciting to see the digital and data transformation of farming happening with SeeTree’s product. Seeing thousands of field workers worldwide using their smartphones on a daily basis, while their managers make decisions and run their complex operations based on our platform, is the best reward possible. We are totally committed to continuing our journey, helping our customers and expanding our ‘Operating System for Trees’.”

Founded in 2016 by the security experts Michael Assraf, Yossi Ze’evi and Roi Cohen, Vicarius protects clients against the exploitation of yet-to-be-discovered software vulnerabilities. It does so by equipping Information Technology IT and security teams with a cloud-first, automated and consolidated platform, TOPIA. TOPIA, the company boasts, protects installed operating systems and third-party software from vulnerabilities.

So, Vicarius is yet another in a very long line of new cyber security firms to come out of Startup Nation. And it makes sense that Israel would be home to such companies. It has been known for them since its first major success story, Check Point, made its big exit in the 1990s after developing firewall security programs. But the hackers just keep on getting better and better.

“Vicarius is best positioned to take on the much-needed task of transforming the vulnerability management market from assessment to remediation,” said Michael Assraf, CEO of Vicarius. “We are committed to growth and have been hard at work creating solutions that will be flexible to the changing AI landscape, all while staying core to our mission of protecting our customers from vulnerabilities.”
