Noah Schnapp, the 19 year old star of the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things,” is speaking out about the ongoing war in Gaza. Schnapp, who is Jewish, felt the need to clarify comments he made in the wake of the October 7 massacre enacted by Hamas because, of course, the world needs to know all about what every television star thinks and feels about such things.

After more than 1,200 innocent people, including babies, were murdered by Hamas on October 7, 2023 – this included people burned alive, including babies – Noah Schnapp took to Instagram to express his support for Israel.

“You either stand with Israel or you stand with terrorism,” he declared at the time. “It shouldn’t be a difficult choice.”

“As a Jewish American, I am afraid,” said Schnapp in the wake of the attack. “Afraid for my brothers and sisters in Israel, who have been senselessly attacked by Hamas. I am truly heartbroken to see the brutal murders of innocent children, women and soldiers fighting to defend themselves.”

But now Noah Schnapp seems to be more afraid of harm to his image and possibly hurting the ratings for the much anticipated upcoming final season of “Stranger Things.” As such, the actor is taking a more moderate tone, calling for peace on all sides.

In a video that he released on TikTok, Noah Schnapp said, “I feel like my thoughts and beliefs have been so far misconstrued from anything even close to what I believe and I wanted to just state from my heart how I feel. I only want peace and safety and security for all innocent people affected by this conflict.”

“I’ve had many open discussions with friends from Palestinian background, and I think those are very important conversations to have and I’ve learned a lot,” he added.

“Learned a lot”? What?

Well, apparently these discussions have shown him that the people on all sides “hope for the same things, that being those innocent people still being held hostage in Gaza to be returned to their families, and equally hope for an end to the loss of innocent life in Palestine—so many of those people being women and children, and it’s horrible to see.”

Unfortunately, this is simply not true and most of the people on the other side want to see all Israelis killed.

“Anyone with any ounce of humanity would hope for an end to the hostilities on both sides,” said Noah Schnapp. Unfortunately, Hamas and its supporters around the world have no humanity.

“We are all human, and we are all the same, and we should all love each other for that and support each other and stand together,” said Schnapp.

Sweet.
