IDF forces in Gaza (IDF)
As Israel continues with its campaign to stamp out the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza, the country is also dealing with the increasing threat of attacks by Hezbollah in the north.
Since the October 7 Hamas massacre and the start of the Iron Swords War in Gaza, the terrorist group Hezbollah has been launching rockets indiscriminately at Israeli territory from its bases across the border in Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has responded to these attacks by hitting Hezbollah bases.
Overnight the IDF attacked a series of targets of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon. Its Air Force fighter jets attacked a Hezbollah compound in the area of the village of Marwahin , located just across the border in Lebanon. The IDF also took out a rocket launcher and a terrorist infrastructure in the area of the village of Ayta ash Shab in Lebanon.

Also, during the past day a remotely manned aircraft (UAV) of the Air Force attacked a launcher from which a shot was fired at the territory of the State of Israel and a combat helicopter attacked an area from which an anti-tank missile was launched into Israel
On Sunday Hezbollah fired at the IDF’s control unit on Mount Meron in the north of the country. An IDF spokesman said, “We are investigating the incident at the control unit and we eliminated seven terrorists yesterday. We have a challenge in the north – but we are deployed along the entire border with a very high level of readiness.”
As for the continuing fighting in Gaza, the IDF’s 98th Division, in cooperation with the Air Force, attacked about 30 “significant” terrorist targets in Khan Yunis, including underground targets, terrorist infrastructures and weapons warehouses. The IDF said that these attacks help its forces that are maneuvering in the area to continue fighting
In Al-Ma’azi in the center of the Gaza Strip, an Air Force fighter jet directed by the Golani Brigade’s attack cell attacked a weapons warehouse where long-range rockets were stored.
