Did Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy quit gambling for good? Well, some people got that impression after he said so in a Tweet complaining about the money he lost on a bet on the NFL’s Buffalo Bills who lost in overtime on Sunday to the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 37 – 34.
Never one to mince words, Dave Portnoy tweeted, “I quit gambling. Fuck Buffalo.”
He also criticized the Bills defense saying, “That 3rd down defense on 3rd and 4 from Buffalo should get everybody fired.”

And Dave Portnoy blamed the refs too saying, “I quit gambling but how in the world do the refs fuck that late hit call up?” and “Refs were horrible.”
He also seemed to think that his bets had some sort of mystical effect on the game’s outcome, literally causing the game tying field goal scored by Philadelphia at the end of regulation time.
Dave Portnoy was also annoyed by how someone at Barstool Sports censored his use of curse words in a recent video about college football.
“Who the fuck beeped my swear word?” he asked. “Who the fuck do they think owns this company? I do. Don’t beep my curse words ever again.”
