In Kfar Chabad War Room, the momentum of the activity continues with the distribution of large-scale equipment to soldiers and recruits along the conflict’s front lines in the North and South. The War Room, which is located in a Kfar Chabad with over 500 volunteers from the area, works in close cooperation with the army units and representatives of the families and is considered a central War Room in Israel, to which hundreds and thousands turn to with requests for help from both the army and the families. As of today, three weeks since the start of the war, over 127,000 military personnel and civilian evacuees received assistance. Over sixty vehicles, commercial vehicles and trucks were mobilized to ensure the fulfillment of every request from the army.

“We provide a variety of tactical military equipment, including warm clothing, hygiene toiletries, electronics, and almost everything a soldier and the army need,” said Rabbi Eliyahu Guttman, executive director of “Ezer Lahayal” organization. Guttman also tells us about a unique and exciting project of Chabad Hassidic community in Kfar Chabad, alongside the ‘Brothers and Sisters in Arms’ organization from Tel Aviv, who volunteer in a military unit dealing with the issue of ceramic armors and stretchers to ensure the safety of the combatants. A variety of ventures and projects are held here throughout the weeks ahead for the benefit of the combatants and evacuees, such as a truck that travels across the country and inside it 10 washing machines and dryers, plus a freezer for popsicles and even a charging station for dozens of cell phones. The War Room has expanded, assisting families evacuating from the North and South. “You can see the War Room and the entire people of Israel joining together and helping the soldiers and the army succeed in this war. There is broad unity that can be seen here”, Guttman tells us.

Fintech executives salute and donate to the War Room – ‘Aid to the Soldier’ (Ezer Lachayal), Kfar Chabad.

Everyone who comes to War Room is amazed by what he sees, “We get visits from the largest companies in Israel, starting with the former Director General of the Ministry of Defense (during Ehud Barak’s term), Ret. General Udi Shani, who is in charge of consulting in all matters related to the purchase of semi-military equipment and as a contact person to the military, the CEO of Rapyd Global, Mr. Arik Shtilman, members of the Knesset, corporations, donors, and the Israeli people and even the military secretary of three former presidents of Israel, Brigadier General Shimon Hefetz (Ret.), all come to donate or support because they understand that there is non-stop action here”, Guttman tells us.

Now is the time to point out that behind the project’s logistics are the residents of Kfar Chabad: Rabbi Eliyahu and Nachami Guttman. The high-tech entrepreneur Mr. Yossi Rabinovitch, organizational consultant Ms. Deborah Rabinovitch, and Rabbi Gershom, who has been working for decades with soldiers outside of Kfar Chabad, all decided to undertake the project together with the association “Ezer Lahayal” and take it one step further. The media strategist and senior consultant accompanying the War Room, Mr. Lior Horev (who has run political campaigns in Israel and abroad), and the foreign relations person is attorney Mordechai Tzivin.

The message is to give one’s soul professionalism and unity because only together, God willing, we shall win!
