Elon Musk Wants to Help Hamas with Internet Services

Elon Musk offered his help after Israel cut off Gaza’s internet.

Israel is furious with Elon Mush after the Twitter owner pledged to step in and offer internet services to Gaza from Starlink, which will help the terror group Hamas continue with its killing of innocent civilians. On Friday, Israel cut off internet and other services in Gaza in preparation for its anticipated ground attack after three weeks of aerial assaults.

Elon Musk pledged to use his SpaceX’s global satellite network Starlink to provide service to the “internationally recognized aid organizations in Gaza.” The problem, however, is that all such organizations are actually either controlled by or used by, Hamas for its terror operations.

“Starlink will provide connectivity to internationally recognized aid organizations in Gaza,” Musk wrote.

“It is not clear who has authority regarding connections on the ground in Gaza, but we know that no terminal has asked to connect in this area,” Elon Musk commented in response to another person’s Tweet.

Starlink calls itself the world’s “first and largest” satellite constellation using a low Earth orbit to deliver broadband internet capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls and more.

Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi slammed the move in a statement saying, “Israel will use all means at its disposal to fight this. Hamas will use it for terrorist activities. There is no doubt about it, we know it, and Musk knows it. HAMAS is ISIS. Perhaps Musk would be willing to condition it with the release of our abducted babies, sons, daughters, elderly people. All of them! By then, my office will cut ties with Starlink.”

A grateful Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization, said, “We could really benefit from Starlink to try getting in touch with our staff and health facilities in Gaza. How can we make it happen?”

And as if that were not enough, in a “now he shows his true colors” moment, Elon Musk has also been sharing images of anti-Israel demonstrations around the world on his twitter feed.
