Marc Cuban, the billionaire entrepreneur and owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks is trying to play matchmaker for the world famous singer Taylor Swift. Apparently, Cuban wants her to break up with NFL player Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, and date an NBA player instead. Swift and Kelce came out very publicly with their relationship when they were photographed together at a Chief’s game

“Taylor, sorry if you’re listening Travis, break up with him,” Marc Cuban, said on a Thursday, September 28, appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” show. “I got a bunch of good-looking single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks. I gotchu.”

“The Mavs have got a bunch of single guys. Call me!,” he added.

And Marc Cuban also talked about how the popularity of Taylor Swift must be a great promotion for the NFL saying, “Literally every city she brings her tours to, you can see the economy get a bump out of it. The NFL’s gotta be loving this.”

This will be seen Sunday night as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football. The new television season was delayed due to a writers strike so the game will not have much competition as the NBA and NHL seasons have not yet started. So maybe the hope of seeing their beloved Taylor Swift caught on camera during the game will bring millions of her fans to the viewership of the game.

If that happens, you can expect the NFL to change its schedule around and have the Chiefs always appear in the Sunday night game – which is the only NFL game played at that tile with the rest played on Sunday afternoon – or the Thursday night game every week for the rest of the season.

Rob Hyland, the coordinating producer of NBC’s Sunday Night Football, told the New York Times, “The possibility of Taylor attending the game on Sunday night opens up a window to a new audience, definitely. We’re aware we could be reaching new eyeballs.”

For his part, Travis Kelce jokingly responded on Twitter, “mcuban Just sign me to a ten day [contract]! 😎.”

About his courtship of the Grammy winner Taylor Swift Travis Kelce said on his “New Heights” podcast, “just thought it was awesome that everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. The friends and family. She looked amazing … and on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans. We script it all, ladies and gentlemen. It was absolutely electric.”
