Israeli startup Salvador Technologies, a 30-second recovery from Cyber Attack for Critical Assets and Operational Technologies (OT), won a $2.2 million funding grant.

The Israel-United States Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation brought this capital boost. BIRD bolsters collaborative industrial R&D projects between Israeli and American firms.

Salvador Technologies partners with US-based cybersecurity newcomer Bastazo in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Salvador Technologies is gearing up to engineer an AI-empowered platform. This cutting-edge solution focuses on monitoring vulnerabilities and overseeing recovery measures. Its chief aim is to shield industrial control systems (ICS) from ransomware and other cyber threats.

Salvador Technologies’ revolutionary rapid recovery technology has been pioneered. Built around three pivotal defense layers, it ensures the steadfast operational continuity of critical infrastructure and manufacturing systems. The brains behind this innovation, Alex Yevtushenko and Oleg Vusiker, owe their expertise to over a decade of service in Israel’s elite National Cyber Unit and Intelligence Corps.

Philip Huff, Bastazo’s co-founder, reflected on the gravity of the BIRD Foundation’s funding, “This collaboration is a convergence of two game-changing cybersecurity visions from both our companies. Our joint product will empower businesses to pinpoint vulnerabilities in their ICS and OT networks, mitigating ransomware threats and facilitating swift recovery from any breaches.”

This grant comes under the BIRD Cyber Program, an initiative supported by the US Department of Homeland Security, Israel National Cyber Directorate, and the BIRD Foundation.

Alex Yevtushenko, CEO of Salvador Technologies expressed his enthusiasm, “This grant is a monumental milestone for us, and we’re honored to be ambassadors of Israeli cyber innovations. As we deepen our foothold in the US, the endorsement from the BIRD Foundation is a testament to our capabilities and our bright prospects in the US market.”
