Vicki Verano

Vicki Verano (Twitter)

Have you heard of Vicki Verano? She is one of the latest sensations to hit social media apps like Twitter and Instagram. Her bikini pics and videos are the “thirst traps” everyone is talking about. The only problem here is – she does not exist.

Vicki Verano is an AI-generated “fake” person.

And she is not the only one. Have you heard of Mila Sofia? Well, according to her Twitter account Mila is a “24-year old virtual girl from Helsinki Finland” who was made by AI.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Who the heck was Km Kardashian anyway before she got a ton of plastic surgery? Women like her shamelessly flaunted their “fake” body parts covered in tons of makeup in order to become famous. Does anybody even remember the time when women were embarrassed to admit they had work done and would never acknowledge to bearing artificial endowments?

But then the Kim Kardashians, Addison Raes Paige Spirnacs and all of the rest. And we all know that in addition to the partially plastic bodies they were all Photoshopping their pictures into literally impossible to achieve body types. How many times have you scrolled through a story on Photoshop fails that showed an “influencer” missing an arm, or with a limb way too longs, etc. So why not just create the images entirely from a computer program? None of this is reality anyway.

On her Twitter account, of Vicki Verano says she is a “Digital Creator | Virtual Model & Influencer – I ain’t here on business baby – I’m only here for fun! NOT monetizing any of this!”

Here are some of the captions that went along with Vicki Verano’s recent posts of bikini pics.

“We made the neighbors peek out their windows when we went night swimming
“That time I got to model some nighties…”
“My favorite place: a beach bar somewhere in the Caribbean! (And in this one the bar in question probably does not exist either.)”

The sad fact here is that no one really cares. People have known for years that all of those pictures on social media they salivate over are fake. So, why would they care if the people in the pictures do not even exist?

And this is part of the reason why actors are now on strike. But can “influencers” go on strike? What will the would be Kim Kardashians of the world do now that the Vicki Veranos and of Mila Sofias are taking over social media? Get a job?
