Mark Cuban will not be running for President as a third party candidate in 2024. The would be Ross Perot version 2.0 has better things to do. The world can now sigh in relief.
And why has Mark Cuban decided not to run? Well, it’s for the sake of his family, of course. The billionaire told NBC News when asked about it, “No. My family would disown me.”
Oh well. Maybe instead Mark Cuban will challenge either Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk to a one-on-one cage match. Maybe he will challenge the winner of the highly anticipated upcoming Mask-Zuckerberg fight. Or, better yet, maybe Cuban could join both Zuckerberg and Musk at the same time in the ring and make it a three-way bout. Wouldn’t that be something?

Perhaps these self-made billionaires are actually onto something? Instead of America’s current system of primaries followed by a general election that seems to be dragged out forever, and an election process where as much as billions of dollars are spent in total by all of the candidates combined, maybe instead they should just hold one big cage match competition.
Imagine a Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump rematch in 2024, but held as a cage match. The two could duke it out. Sure, Trump has the advantage in size, but he is also really fat and would tire out quickly. Biden could just run around for a bit and wait for Trump to pass out.
In fact, maybe we should just do away with elections entirely and just let the billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk run everything. After all, they have done such a good job with their respective companies, haven’t they?
Mark Cuban, however, is still high on the idea of founding some sort of third party for the 2024 American Presidential elections. On an organization trying to do just that he said, “I like that they are trying a new path. I think the 2 party system is broken.”
According to his official bio, in 1995, Mark Cuban and long-time friend Todd Wagner came up with an internet based solution to not being able to listen to Hoosiers Basketball games out in Texas. That solution was Broadcast.com – streaming audio over the internet. In just four short years, Broadcast.com (then Audionet) would be sold to Yahoo for $5.6 billion dollars. His trade to collar his shares of Yahoo! stock received in the sale of Broadcast.com in advance of the popping of the Internet bubble has been called one of the top 10 trades of all time.
