Wiz, the Israeli unicorn that offers an API security platform, now offers the new Wiz Integration (WIN) platform that allows for the integration of cloud bases cybersecurity. WIN is being offered in cooperation with Wiz’s fellow Israeli unicorns Armis, an Israeli internet of things IoT startup and API security company Salt Security.

Wiz boasts that WIN provides a “breadth of bi-directional security integrations that enable joint customers to easily share security findings and ultimately improve their cloud security posture, boost ROI, and drive efficiency.”

WIN, said Wiz, offers seamless integration: Wiz and its third-party partners handle the complex work, enabling customers to successfully integrate in seconds; vendor neutrality: WIN allows customers to select and build their ideal cloud security structure, seamlessly integrating with Wiz’s insights and their chosen security solutions; cloud visibility with detailed data sharing: WIN offers a complete data set with findings, vulnerabilities, cloud configurations, and inventory to improve third-party integrations for IT teams’ full cloud environment perspective.

Wiz was founded in March 2020 by the team that led Microsoft’s Cloud Security Group and built the security stack in Azure. CEO Assaf Rappaport, CTO Ami Luttwak, VP Product Yinon Costica, and VP R&D Roy Reznik, have worked together for more than 15 years and previously founded Adallom (acquired by Microsoft for $320 million), which is now the #1 Cloud Access Security Broker in the market.

Wiz became a super unicorn and the world’s biggest cybersecurity startup when it hit a $10 billion valuation in January. The valuation came with a $300 million raise in a Series D funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and existing investors Greenoaks Capital Partners and Index Ventures. Wiz also became the fastest SaaS company to achieve a $10 billion valuation.

“To move at cloud speed, security teams must meet diverse needs – and do so quickly,” said Yinon Costica, VP Product & Co- Founder, Wiz. “That’s why cloud security needs a ‘together’ approach: to make it easy to drive more value across the organization. WIN is the result of a deep commitment between Wiz and our world-class partners to deliver the industry’s richest set of integrations and help customers adopt a new cloud operating model.”

Armis was founded in 2015 by Yevgeny Dibrov, Nadir Izrael and Tomer Schwartz (who is no longer in the company). Dibrov and Izrael met during their military service, although they served in separate units – both graduates of Unit 81 (The Technological Unit of the Intelligence) and cybersecurity elite 8200.

“We’re proud to partner with Wiz and combine our respective areas of expertise to deliver an enhanced solution that better protects global organizations and governments from cybersecurity risks,” said Nadir Izrael, CTO and Co-founder of Armis. “As a cybersecurity community, we are better together when it comes to defending against the increasingly sophisticated attacks of malicious actors.”

Salt Security was founded in 2016 by CEO Roey Eliyahu and Michael Nicosia, alumni of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and serial entrepreneur executives in the cybersecurity field. Salt Security is based in Silicon Valley and Israel.

“APIs constitute the core of modern innovation, especially in the cloud, providing seamless access to vital services and data,” added Roey Eliyahu, co-founder and CEO of Salt Security. “At the same time, APIs have also become an enabler for bad actors looking to execute malicious attacks. Protecting against API abuse requires comprehensive visibility across all environments, a clear understanding of where API posture gaps persist and succinct remediation insights to help reduce corrective timelines.”
