Deepchecks Raises $14 Million While Verix Acquires Start-Up.ai

Verix , an Israeli firm that offers an AI driven commercial optimization platform for the pharmaceutical industry, has acquired Start-Up.ai, a team of AI specialists that helps businesses improve their processes using artificial intelligence and machine learning for an undisclosed sum. Meanwhile, Deepchecks, an Israeli startup that offers a solution to continuously test models from development through production, raised $14 million in a seed investment Alpha Wave Ventures.

Founded in 2019, Deepchecks is an open-source package for Machine Learning validation. The company boasts that its Open Source is a python library for data scientists and ML engineers. The package includes extensive test suites for machine learning models and data, built in a way that’s flexible, extendable and editable.

Start-Up.ai boasts that it provides “all the knowledge needed” for succeeding in AI, from ROI-centric innovation, through rigorous research to engineering robustness and execution.

Founded in 2007, Verix offers “timely, focused, and relevant insights” which the firm says is crucial to the success of any business as well as its to influence. Verix’s cloud-based suite of analytic applications was developed specifically for Pharma commercial operations.
