Video of Israeli Jews and Arabs Kissing Disappears From Facebook




In wake of public storm caused by the Israeli Ministry of Education’s decision to ban ‘Borderlife’ by Dorit Rabinyan from the school program,  Time Out Tel Aviv have decided to ask jews and arabs to meet and to kiss.

The book describing an affair between a jewish woman and an arab man. So TimeOut decided to produce a video of Israeli Arabs and Jews kissing one another.

Six couples of jews and arabs – male and female, gay and straight – have decided to do the “forbidden deed” and express love infront of our camera.

Some of them were couples, some just friends, some have never met prior to the shoot.
Jews and arabs refuse to be enemies.

However, the video has disappeared from Facebook, prompting TimeOut Tel Aviv to assume that it was the social media giant that took it down.

“The video, which has so far garnered more than 100, 000 views and more than 5, 500 shares before it was surprisingly disappeared from Facebook.

In the meantime, the video on YouTube has gained 273, 028 views in two days.

In the video, when asked how it felt to kiss a stranger not of their own race and religion, one participant in the video replies at the end of the video, “less strange than the [Arab-Israeli] conflict.”
