Soon, you won’t even want a Facebook account to sign in for messenger. Facebook on Wednesday declared that individuals within the U.S., Canada, Peru, and Venezuela can soon be ready to sign in for messenger with simply a phone number.

Facebook says the move is all concerning creating messenger more accessible to everybody even anti-Facebook users. If you comprise this camp, simply choose the option “Not on Facebook” on the messenger welcome screen. From there, you will be ready to sign in with simply your name, phone number and photo.

The move comes when Facebook last year dropped chat from its mobile app and transitioned individuals over to the standalone traveler app for all their private-chat wants. the most Facebook app can still show you if you have got any new messages, however you will need the separate messenger app to read them and reply.
