Other performers at the event included the singer Sia and the band No Doubt.

“It’s always a blast” Silverman told Variety. “It’s nice to be in a room of like-minded people. That sounds very elitist, but it’s really very inclusive. It’s a great crowd, and it’s a room filled with people I admire.”

Meanwhile, Silverman will star in a movie project so new that it does not even have a title yet with Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. The film is being produced by the comedy group “Lonely Island Project.”

The movie is said to be a send up of music documentaries about famous musicians like the ones that they show on VH1.
