WERPO and ACEP will work to form a local JV in Ghana, under which they plan to erect a sea wave energy power station. While ACEP shall work to attain all necessary authorizations and liaise with the state on all matters regarding the future project, WERPO will provide its renewable and profitable sea wave energy technology.

In addition to providing a new power source to a region suffering from a severe energy crisis, the erection of a sea wave power plant in Ghana will assist in stimulating the local economy through job creation and by introducing a new renewable energy sector utilizing sea waves.

WERPO has been in contact with Mr. John Peter Amewu, Director of Research and Evidence at ACEP, for quite some time and it is evident that both WERPO and ACEP have the same goal of utilizing Ghana’s untapped resource of sea waves in the best possible manner by introducing WERPO’s system in the region.

The Africa Centre for Energy Policy, established in 2010, is registered in Ghana. ACEP is an African energy policy think tank, an advisory based organization working with partners around the world and especially in Africa to harness the potential of Africa’s vast energy resources (oil, gas and renewable) for the accelerated development of the Continent.
ACEP’s goal is to become a center of excellence in energy policy analysis, training and advocacy on the best use of Africa’s energy resources for equitable and sustainable development.

WERPO, having received the rights for all of SDE Ltd’s technology, property, know-how, IP (patents, et al), contracts and subsidiaries, is able to promote its sea wave energy solution around the world while being publicly traded under the stock name BBRD.
