Joan Rivers’ daughter Melissa intends to sue the medical center where she died according to TMZ. It has also been revealed that Melissa Rivers has inherited $75 million in cash and an Upper East Side Condominium worth $35 million from her mother Joan.
Apparently, a lawsuit is the only way for the younger Rivers to find out exactly what caused her mother’s death. As of today only Yorkville Endoscopy LLC, where Joan Rivers died, and the New York Department of Health know the real reason why she stopped breathing.

The 46 year old only child who co-starred with her mother on the E Channel’s show Fashion Police received the bulk of the late comedian’s estate. Her 13 year old son received his own inheritance.
