Mets Players Spread Cheer at the Cohen Children’s Hospital

Mets Visit Patients At Cohen Children’s Medical Center

Zack Wheeler and Travis D’Arnaud, players for the New York Mets, brought smiles to the faces of kids at the Cohen Children’s Medical Center. The players gave presents autographs, and just as important, their time to the children in the hospital, and of course, kids were thrilled to have their pictures taken with their favorite baseball players. Mr. Met was on hand to answer questions such as why he had four fingers and no thumb and where was Mrs. Met.

The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center was ranked highly in U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 Best Children’s Hospital survey. It opened its doors in 1983 and has 675 pediatricians, including 200 physicians and 500 nurses
