On Saturday, Waze Ltd. released on its YouTube channel a cute upgrade: users can download the voices of celebrities to offer driving directions, instead of the anonymous male or female voices. Imagine, if you will, Jim Carrey or Scarlett Johansson tells you where to go. US comedian Kevin Hart is the first celebrity. He is promoting his new movie, “Ride Along” is contributing his voice to Waze as part of a collaboration with Universal Studios. It is not known if Hart will be joined by other stars of future Universal Studios’ movies. If you want to download Hart’s voice, update the latest Waze version, go to define and select a voice. From this page, it is possible to choose “voice instructions” – a list of options, of which Hart is the first.
