Education

Over the past three decades, China has almost eliminated illiteracy among its 1.4 billion citizens; extended nine years of free basic education across the country, and dramatically expanded the number of students in higher education to 20% of the age group currently. And the opportunities for pre-school elementary, middle, high school, university or college, and vocational training school have been growing rapidly in the wake of population and incomes increasing.

As a manufacturing giant, China is still lacking of savvy blue-collar professionals, it generated lots of opportunities for higher education institutions and vocational training schools. Amid an increasingly internationalized business environment and significant shift towards a services and skills-based economy, China’s education system has become a high-priority for the government, and the Chinese parents are paying more and more for their children’s education.

It means that this industry now provides investors and operators with a wide range of opportunities. Israeli education enjoys great reputation in China, and it boosts for innovative high-tech talent education, so it would be a very prosperous industry for Israeli education institutions, I suggest them to pay more attention to higher education, preschool education, innovation specialized training, vocational education and online education in China.
